After searching for a long time to find a good GIMP tutorial on how to make your own custom brushes I did not find one. With some help I decided to make my own to help the thousands of GIMP users out there. This is a very quick and easy way to make gimp brushes.

.) Open up a New File.
.) Set the image size to whatever size you intend your brush to be.
.) Click on the Advanced Options and a drop down menu should appear. (View Picture 1 Below)
.) Set the Fill to Transperancy. Now you're all set to begin creating your first GIMP brush.
.) Create some circles with the Circle Selection tool. Use the Fill tool to color them in black. (View Picture 2 Below)
.) Right click and Select All.
.) Save the brush as namedesired.gbr
.) A pop-up box should appear. (View Picture 3 Below) I usually keep the settings at default.
.) Now that your brush us saved find where you saved it and right click to cut.
.) Program Files > Gimp-2.0 > Share > gimp > 2.0 > Brushes
.) Paste your brush there.
.) Now in the Gimp Tool Box go to File > Dialogs > Brushes
.) A pop-up box should appear and in the bottom right hand corner of it click the refresh brushes picture.
.) Now that your brush is done try it out!

Yup! I was frustrated when I first started because I couldn't find any good tutorials, they weren't clear enough and I didn't know how to set the background to transparent, so once I finally figured it out I decided I should share it with other people.
